Our Organization

Resources Inc. was incorporated as a nonprofit organization on January 18, 2025. Our current work focuses on Marion County, Indiana, and surrounding counties.

Our purpose is to expand educational opportunity and help students and families access resources that support greater stability.

Our Work

Education & Student Support

Education is at the heart of Resources Inc.'s mission. We work to reduce barriers that can limit educational opportunity by providing access to tutoring support, assistance with educational expenses, test preparation resources, and financial support for educational testing fees.

Through mentoring, scholarship guidance, college-access assistance, and community-based engagement, we help students and families identify pathways to continued learning, achievement, and future opportunity.

Housing & Family Stability

Resources Inc. provides housing guidance, rental assistance, and connections to housing and property partners to help families work toward stable housing. We support families in identifying available resources, navigating assistance programs, and pursuing opportunities that can strengthen long-term housing stability.

Housing vacancies and placement opportunities are subject to availability.

Governance & Accountability

Our bylaws establish a board-led governance structure, with responsibilities that include setting strategic direction, approving budgets and major expenditures, supporting fundraising, and overseeing legal and ethical compliance. They require board meetings at least quarterly and assign financial reporting and budgeting oversight to the treasurer.
